Care Team Ministries

Did you know that the Care Team is presently ministering with YOU in mind? This team is concerned for the needs of the people of Faith Alive and is diligently working to ensure that the spiritual needs within the body are met. YOU are also an important part of caring for others. With the many changes in privacy, hospitals no longer call churches or Clergy with patient information. If a family member or friend is hospitalized, scheduled for a short procedure, or just going through life’s difficulties, the Care Team wants to help.

An important part of the Care Team is the Visitation Team. The Visitation Team offers spiritual comfort & encouragement to those in hospital, rehab & nursing home stays, as well as offering future visits at home. This visitation is not a substitute for Pastoral care, but a good follow-up after a hospital or rehab stay.

And yet another facet of the Care Team is the "Home-bound Ministry” team. This group goes out usually twice per month—they talk, sing hymns, share a devotion, and pray. If you have some free time to go along for a visit to our shut-ins or those residing in the nursing homes—this is a real blessing to both those who give & receive.
